EVENTS SCHEDULE
January 17, 2008: Our speaker was Jody Horner. Jody gave a wonderful presentation on history of the Divide and surrounding area. She published four books on first hand testimony of the gold country settlers. These books are available locally at the Holiday Market in Cool. For other locations to purchase these books, please google Jody Horner.
February, 2008: GO RED FOR WOMEN. Our speaker will be Michael Ungeheuer. He will give a presentation on Women's Heart Health.
March 20, 2008: John Souza, El Dorado County Environmental Management, will speak on recycling and associated topics.
April 17, 2008: Bonnie Potter, a retired Naval MD, gave a wonderful presentation on women in the Military. She encouraged women to think about the Military as a career. Good pay, and great benefits. Young women should give this employment consideration.
May 15, 2008: Fashion Show and Luncheon, Marshall Grange Hall, Garden Valley, at 11:30 a.m.. Fashions by Mervyn's. Tickets are $7.00 per person, advanced sales only.
